Players are required to provide accurate information at the start of the tournament via the registration form. Using false information during registration will result in the player’s registration being canceled.
Match streaming will be conducted ONLY through the official tournament organizer’s stream (OliPatrick). Players are prohibited from streaming their matches live or another competitor’s matches live by any means. Likewise, the retransmission of the original signal by any other means by third parties is prohibited. Players may stream their replays of the day ONCE the official stream of the day has ended. If this rule is violated, the offending player will be removed from the tournament.
Players are required to compete in their matches using only the race declared at the time of their tournament registration (Terran/Protoss/Zerg).
Players must not lend their account to another player to compete on their behalf. If identity fraud is proven, the involved player(s) will be banned from the tournament.
There is a 10-minute grace period for the start of matches. The penalty for lateness is as follows: Exceeding the 10-minute grace period results in a W.O. (walkover) for the match.
Players must maintain proper behavior at all times during any stage of the tournament, both within the game and in game chat rooms and other communication channels with the organization or live streams. Misconduct or disrespect will not be tolerated under any circumstances and may result in the offending player receiving a prior warning. If the offense is repeated, the player’s behavior will result in them being banned from the tournament.
The maps to be used for the group stage, round robin, and playoffs will be announced during the ranking stage.
If a player involuntarily disconnects from the match within the first 2 minutes and no contact was made between the players, the game will be recreated with the exact same parameters as the first. The same races must be chosen. If a player with a clear advantage involuntarily disconnects, the administrators have the right to decide if the match will be restarted in order to preserve the spirit of the competition. If a player disconnects involuntarily at an advanced point in the match, the following may occur:
Players must not pause matches unnecessarily. If a pause is required, the player must inform their tournament opponent immediately by typing “PP” in the in-game chat. Both players must be prepared to resume the match after a pause.
The game ends when all of one player’s structures are destroyed by the opponent or by the voluntary disconnection of the player at a disadvantage. The game does NOT end when a player types ‘GG’ in the in-game chat. The game must show the victory screen for one of the players; competitors must not assume the game is over and should play seriously at all times. In the event of a stalemate, the game will end in a draw for both players. Each player will be awarded a point or a victory (depending on the stage of the tournament). A stalemate occurs in the following case: After two minutes where neither player can generate mineral income, produce any units, construct structures, develop any upgrades, or destroy an enemy structure.
